Krazzy glueI am making a halloween costume. what glue or adhesive should i use when gluing rubber to plastic?
Super glue or Crazy glue would probably work best.
They have this glue at like Home Depot that is in a spray can It's great !
Gorilla glue is the bomb. it sticks to almost anything, including rubber and plastic! i use it all of the time. just make sure that you use a damp rag to dampen the surfaces and then clamp them together for 4 hours. It will certainly make things easier!
glue gun???
I'd use good ol' rubber cement, but, hey, I'm kinda old fashioned.
It should hold elf ears okay and you may even be able to peel them off the crown for reuse some other time.
Most of the other answers seem pretty permanent...
Your going to have to find some gkue that doesn't rely on pores. That's all I can say.

Is it possible to vulcanize two pieces of rubber together without the aid of adhesive?
vulcanizing doesn't use glue of sorts but does use a cleaner to make sure you don't have air pockets when finished. vulcanizing is heating rubber to soft consistency and melting it together with another piece of rubber, usually under pressure so when you heat the rubber make sure you have a clamp that will cover the joint and create a good seam.Is it possible to vulcanize two pieces of rubber together without the aid of adhesive?
yes use an ultrasonic sealer or use heat
heat the sides to be stuck together apply pressure as it softens
a propane torch can be used
or a heat sealer on a food saverIs it possible to vulcanize two pieces of rubber together without the aid of adhesive?
yes... use your wife's iron... stick the ends on the iron... when they get soft... stick them together

You need something to eat into the rubber under heat between the items to be vulcanised. Otherwise you just melt away the rubber under the heating element and get no adhesion between the 2.
What sort of adhesive will hold the rubber feet onto the back of my computer?
There are little wells where the rubber feet were, but silicon didn't hold them at all.
The glue that remains from the factory is still sticky; reminiscent of rubber cement (although I should think rubber cement will not be at all strong enough).
The feet came off from a tight fitting carry case, otherwise they would probably still be on.
Thanks! What sort of adhesive will hold the rubber feet onto the back of my computer?
Contact cement. What sort of adhesive will hold the rubber feet onto the back of my computer?
If you have a Tap Plastics around, they sell those little rubber feet (bumpon's) with a peel and stick already on them, I think they are 3 or 4 cents apiece.
Liquid nails might do it if you get the kind that is all purpose. It will stick to anything. Just buy a tube of it at the hardware store and cut the tube open with a knife. Don't buy one of those stupid squeeze guns.
Try Gorilla Glue. That the brand name of it.
